Monday morning I was blue.
But Tuesday all I could see was you.
Wednesday scared me. I didn't know what to say.

But then you smiled at me.
I knew what beauty could be.
I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

Then you kissed me.
And I saw sparks fly.
Nothing mattered, my heart would soar.
We danced for hours on the dance floor.
I saw forever in a moment.
You and I shining and vibrant.

Saturday came round.
Flowers and kiss.
A surprise in a small box.
I saw the tear in you eye.
And I knew why.
You kissed me and whispered yes
