I could sing you a song of love
or tell you a story of brave deeds.
I could rescue you from a dastardly villain
or fight off an army of fiends,
I could lasso the moon and give it
to you on a silver platter.
Or light up the sky with the most amazing stars.
I could hold your hand and wipe away your
tears on my sleeve.
Or drive a million miles just for a smile.
I could give you Paris and Rome or the
statue of Venus De Milo as a gift from my heart.
But the best gift I could ever pass on and share
is the one I find the easiest to give.
That gift would be the most fragile of all things in
the world and the most precious.
The most wondrous of all gifts.
The gift of the heart.
The gift of love.
